. . . isn’t here!
So hie thee quickly hence, over to JJ’s blog site, The Invisible Event, to find out what all the hoopla was about. See what two humble (sorta) Carr and Christie fans made of the pair of titles YOU voted as the best of the best!
I warn you that, in the interests of pure analysis, there will be spoilers galore!!!! However, the ever generous JJ has cleverly gotten around that by marking certain passages with book covers so that those of you who forgot to do your homework can still participate. We hope lots of discussion will follow, so feel free to participate . . .
I also want to invite you back here to my place for further refreshments exactly ONE week from today, when JJ and I will do a follow-up of sorts. I don’t want to give it all away, but in true Dr. Gideon Poirot fashion, I offer three clues of what to expect:
- it’s all about Agatha Christie and John Dickson Carr
- we both get very, very personal
- you know those “Top Ten Favorites” lists that everyone does and maybe they’ve been done to death but don’t you want to know what we think but who the heck cares?!? Well . . . . . . . . it’s not that!

I don’t want to risk letting the cat out of the bag any more than that, so please calendar us in and come back here in seven days time!

Now, I’d like to stay and chat some more, but I have a new kitten, and he seems to have gotten himself stuck in a shopping bag . . .

Excited for the next instalment! Is it all out spoilers again, or more held back this time? Or does the concept go in another direction entirely?

Very different and, on my part at least, spoiler free!
